Confessions Part V

I did absolutely nothing yesterday.

Like didn’t even get out of my pjs nothing.

I both loved it and stressed about it.

Kenyon and I had a lazy morning yesterday.  We slept in and then made some breakfast at home.  Afterward, we worked on some trip planning for July.  It was noon-ish by the time I sat down to blog by day and then lunchtime.  Since neither of us had any umph to get moving, I made us some lunch than proceeding to couch-surf the rest of the day.

I had plans to go to an afternoon class at the gym.  But, the motivation never struck.  I was even thinking that if I didn’t get moving, this would be the day I’d break my activity streak of 62 days.  I just didn’t want to do anything productive and just wanted to rest.

So I did.

But, I also felt really guilty.  I should have been exercising.  I should have been getting in my miles/steps.  I should have been more productive.

Maybe if I wasn’t sitting on the couch all day, I wouldn’t have snacked so much either.  Or gnawed on my finger nails/cuticles because I was anxious of what a day off would mean.  It didn’t help the guilt feeling that I had gone way over my points on Wednesday.

Eh.

By time 9pm rolled around, I was so close to meeting my daily movement goal that I just couldn’t let my streak die.  I cheated a bit and after walking around the house for 5-sih minutes, I started up the activity tracker, did some high knees, kicks, squats, etc. and the streak lives another day.

Thursday Randomness

Good Morning Afternoon

This day is zooming by.  We have been getting caught up on upcoming travel plans in July, which made the clock go fast.  Thankfully I got my cleaning/decluttering done yesterday so I’m sort of a free agent as far as time goes today.  I still need to muster up the motivation for activity.  This 110 mile challenge this month has been taking a toll on my body.

I organized my closet yesterday and accumulated four bags for donation, three of clothes and one of purses.

I love all the extra room I have in my closet and that my purses are more organized.

I decided to continue the flow and also cleaned and vacuumed the upstairs.  I love having a clean house.  I was already a sweaty mess so I did a quick 20 minute workout on the treadmill with my favorite Aaptiv workouts.  It was a very productive day yesterday.

Kenyon and I ran some errands and then took a nap.  I was wiped out.  We met up with Phoenix, Stacey, and Kiki at the mall for the Old Chicago Baseball Summer Mini Tour kick-off.  Phoenix has talked me into doing the challenge again so I feel like I need to rush to complete it so I can get my shirt.  If you complete the challenge twice, 16-items, then you get a OC Baseball jersey.  The drink items are what look better than the food.  Last night we shared a large pizza on thin crust.  OC has really good thin crust pizza.

Well, I guess I had figure out what the rest of my day off holds.  Have a great Thursday.

Weekly WI: A Gain

Good Morning.

I had a gain at my WI yesterday.  Womp! Womp!  I sort of had the feeling it might be a gain before I went and since I was super sensitive/emotional last week, I’m going to chalk it up to “that time of the month” and hope this week is better.

I had a great week last week earning my blue dots and getting in activity six days.  So, nothing to be sad or mad about.  I ate out a bit too much and after three weeks of going over points, this could be my sign to reel it back in.  I’m going to work on better balance this week.  Although, so far that has been tough with some social outings.  I really feel like I’m too social for weight loss sometimes.

We started a workshop attendance challenge and a charm awarded at the end.

I brought along my charms to share with the group.

Great workshop this week talking about positivity.
