It’s National Telecommunications Week!!!
Emergency service dispatchers have a really tough job. Emergencies occur 24/7/365 and there for we
are required to be staffed 24/7/365.
Being a dispatcher is often a thankless job and a lot of hard work. We work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and
holidays. We ensure that calls get handled
properly and that citizens feel safe.
We are the voice behind the radio and rarely seen.
It is also a very rewarding job and seeing my officers go home safe at
the end of the day is my number one priority.
One more year of dispatching is now under my belt.
