After
having a conversation with Dawny about her WI numbers it caused me to look at
my own weight record for these last several months. I like taking a step back to see the “big
picture” vs. living in the week-to-week WI woes. While I am maintaining above my goal weight,
my weight record does show a maintenance trend.
I am continuing to work towards bringing that number down each week but
that isn’t always realistic either.
Weight spikes happen, vacations happen, and life happens.
In
the meantime, I feel I’m doing pretty darn well and though I would like to
share with you what the big picture looks like.
These
are my end of month WI numbers (or the weight I at least have on record for
months I was only doing a WI once a month).
July
- 177.6
Aug
- 179.4 - This is the last time I had a WI month at free LT as I was 176
earlier in the month.
Sept
- 180.4
Oct
- 182.6
Nov
- 182.8
Dec
- 181.4
Jan
- 189.4
Feb
- 186.2
Mar
- 185.4
Apr
- 181.4
May
- 183.4
Here
are my yearly totals since I became a LT member.
May
2009 - 168.2
May
2010 - 173.2
May
2011 - 173.8
May
2012 - 171.4
May
2013 - 176.2
May
2014 - 183.4
I
was maintaining pretty consistently in 2010, 2011, and 2012. In 2013 I was up by 4.8 pounds and in 2014 I was up by 7.2 pounds. Obviously I hope 2015 will reflect
differently and I sure do plan to do all I can to keep anymore weight creep
from happening.
However,
seeing these yearly totals doesn’t deter me.
It is still maintenance. It is higher
than the 2 pound minimum of being over what WW allows, but to me it is still
maintenance. Obviously I was at an all
time high when we returned from Hawaii and that is one number that I will
continue to strive towards avoiding at all costs. My back really hurt upon our return and my
pants/shorts were super uncomfortable.
That alone is what I will remember in the future.
