It Was Time To Face The Scale

Good Afternoon. I'm a bit late checking in.

I went to my WW meeting (walked to/from) and then Jamie and I went to see “Tranwreck.” It was just so-so.

It was a great WW meeting and wonderful to be back with my Tuesday morning meeting members and leader Donna. I missed last week's meeting about body gratitude. This week we talked about Goal and Beyond. I've got some thoughts about it but I need to get them written down. I'll blog about it later this week.

I've started a new 12-week journal so I am going to make a sincere commitment for honest tracking for the next 12 weeks. If I eat it, I write it! Plain and simple.
With my workout time added into my workday it will make getting in activity and moving more easier. I am thankful for that. I know the weakest link is my food and my tracking. That is going to be my main focus.

100% tracking started today and included counting 10 PPVs for the movie popcorn. I got the small bag ($2 Tuesdays) which helped with portion control. I would have just kept eating had I upgraded to a large bowl, which I didn't need.

I'll do better in taking photos of my food so I can keep myself accountable and also give myself some blog content. I start my training on the console on Wednesday. I am ready to get this party started.

Headed Home

We are headed home today. I'm hoping for no major travel delays as we have to fly through Phoenix again.

The trip was quick but wonderful to see everybody. I will post photos of the reunion when I am on an actual computer. In the meantime I'll leave you with a photo of our delicious breakfast at Flying Star in Nob Hill. I stumbled across the green chile cheddar bagels on our last trip and added these to the list of places to eat when we come to town. I'm dying for another before we leave but not sure if that will happen.

We also got our CiCi's Pizza fix last night. Good food and wonderful family.

Hello from New Mexico

We arrived an hour late in Albuquerque last night due to weather in Phoenix. We were slowly making our way towards the runway (in the hottest temperature plane I've ever been on) only to get told to stand by due to a large storm passing through. We were sitting on this really HOT plane, on the tarmack, for an hour before we were cleared to take off. We were almost out of time in that if we couldn't take off we would have had to retrun to the airport. Everybody on board was really respectful and after about 30 minutes they gave us some water. Hearing the words "we are cleared for take off" caused everybody to cheer!

We landed, got our rental car, picked up my Aunt Barb and went to Little Anita's to get our Mexican food fix complete with sopillias. My favorite!
Walter says hello.

We are staying at Barb's house in Albuquerque and will attend the family reunion today. We will spend time with my in-laws tomorrow as well. She is accomplish us to the reunion. Yeah!
