Telecommunicators Week
2020
We are celebrating our Telecommunicators this
week. Thank you to all the police, fire,
and emergency services dispatchers that come to work each day and ensure our
men and women go home safe each night.
It is a bit weird this year to be in a supervisory
role and able to celebrate my people…yet we can’t celebrate because of COVID-19
and the need to keep our employees healthy.
We do plan to have a delayed celebration once the stay-at-home order has
been lifted and life, or the new form of life, has returned.
In the meantime, we were able to decorate a few
windows in the dispatch center as part of a challenge from one of our local
agencies.
