Adding Crunch To My Snack


I have been eating Greek yogurt and berries or other canned fruit for a few years now.  This is often my go-to snack and one of the few ways I get my dairy requirement met.  I really liked it topped with granola.  I just love that extra crunch.

Granola tends to be higher in sugar and PPVs so I don’t buy it often.  I have tried to make my own granola at home and while it is yummy it isn’t crunchy like commercial granola. 

I saw on a blog that somebody was adding almonds to their yogurt.  I thought I would give it a try. 


Talk about crunch!  I really love sliced almonds on my yogurt.  I weighed out 15 grams (2 PPVs) and pack them separately when I go to work.  It has been a nice addition to my snack.
